1001 DUNES OF ARABIA

The project is conceived as a cultural landscape rather than a singular building, positioned at the meeting point of desert and sea in the Gulf of Aqaba. The project brings together music, sound, recording, and moving image within a field of light pavilions that rest gently on the sand. Thin, horizontal roofs supported by slender structures create shaded spaces while preserving openness, continuity, and long horizons.
