"The new structure tend to comes out of the ground – the city roots. They are oriented towards the Pyramid and the city, open for everybody. Some of the new functions are harbored within the shells like workshops, exhibition spaces, cafes and even small visiting artist small residences. Others enhance the open space; like the open amphitheater, exhibition, and theme parks and gardens. All roofs have a green terrace, and just like in the Pyramid, people can climb on it and see the square from a different perspective. Through the intervention, our goal is to keep the familiar picture of the space but at the same time enhance the experience; creating an afterimage of remembrance, something that will make you revisit the place and discovering new things, and be part of it. Reimagining the place through people’s imagination, a space where people can meet and make a difference with their presence in the square. All function are in relation with the existing context and the additional ones breed not what stands for today but what comes tomorrow."
